Tournament Challenge Rules
- To be eligible to win participate, you must live within the 50 states of the United States and have a valid ESPN account. To be eligible to win prizes, you must be 18 years of age or older. If you don't have an ESPN account, you can register for one for free by clicking Register in the top right corner of ESPN's homepage.
- Once you have an ESPN account and are signed in to ESPN, visit the Tournament Challenge homepage to create an entry.
- Once your entry is created, you can start filling out your bracket as soon as it is released on Selection Sunday, which is always the 3rd Sunday in March. Once your bracket is active, make your picks by clicking on the team you want to advance or by dragging and dropping the team to where you want. Note: All brackets become locked just prior to the tip of the first game of the "second round" tournament (round of 64) on Thursday morning. After the tip of the first tip, no changes can be made to your bracket.
- Points are awarded for correct picks as follows:
- Round of 64 = 10 points for each correct pick
- Round of 32 = 20 points for each correct pick
- Sweet Sixteen = 40 points for each correct pick
- Elite Eight = 80 points for each correct pick
- Semi-finals = 160 points for each correct pick
- Championship game = 320 points for correct pick
- At the conclusion of the tournament, the top 1% of entries are entered into a random drawing, and the selected winner receives a $10,000 Best Buy Gift card. Even if you don't win a prize, there's still bragging rights to be earned!

Women's Tournament Challenge
- The Women's Tournament Challenge game basically has the same rules and eligibility requirements as Tournament Challenge above. For the official Rules and Eligibility Requirements, click here.

College Hoops Pick'em
- The same eligibility requirements apply to this game as to the others.
- The twist on this game is that a bracket is not used. You only make picks on 1 (one) round of the tournament at a time. This is good because you're not necessarily out of the game after the first one or two rounds, if your "bracket is busted."
- For each round, you pick who you think will win each game of that round. Points are awarded based on the seed of the selected team in the tournament, and based on the following formulas:
- Bucket 1 = Seeds 1 - 4
- Bucket 2 = Seeds 5 - 8
- Bucket 3 = Seeds 9 - 12
- Bucket 4 = Seeds 13 - 16
- For each round, each bucket earns points as follows:
- Round 1 (round of 64)
- Bucket 1 = 1 point per correct pick
- Bucket 2 = 2 point per correct pick
- Bucket 3 = 3 point per correct pick
- Bucket 4 = 4 point per correct pick
- Round 2 (round of 32)
- Bucket 1 = 2 point per correct pick
- Bucket 2 = 4 point per correct pick
- Bucket 3 = 6 point per correct pick
- Bucket 4 = 8 point per correct pick
- Round 3 (Sweet Sixteen)
- Bucket 1 = 3 point per correct pick
- Bucket 2 = 6 point per correct pick
- Bucket 3 = 9 point per correct pick
- Bucket 4 = 12 point per correct pick
- Round 4 (Elite Eight)
- Bucket 1 = 4 point per correct pick
- Bucket 2 = 8 point per correct pick
- Bucket 3 = 12 point per correct pick
- Bucket 4 = 16 point per correct pick
- Round 5 (Final Four)
- Bucket 1 = 5 point per correct pick
- Bucket 2 = 10 point per correct pick
- Bucket 3 = 15 point per correct pick
- Bucket 4 = 24 point per correct pick
- Round 6 (Championship)
- Bucket 1 = 6 point per correct pick
- Bucket 2 = 12 point per correct pick
- Bucket 3 = 18 point per correct pick
- Bucket 4 = 24 point per correct pick
- The top 1% of entrants are entered into a random drawing, and the winner receives a prize pack bundle from Black & Decker. Ten (10) runner-up prizes are also awarded. Even if you don't win a prize, bragging rights are always a great consolation.
